The Castle Queen Collection

During the reformation Queen Elizabeth 1 was trying to come to grips with the Irish and while not adverse to fire and sword if necessary, Elizabeth also employed diplomacy.  However, Cormac McCarthy as Lord of Blarney wanted to keep his independence.  His letters were subtle and so well put, she finally realized that he was keeping her happy without giving in – on receiving another of his charming messages she flung down his letter and said, “This is all blarney, what he says he never means”.

This historically-inspired Collection captures the great eloquence of Cormac McCarthy.
